About me

I am Josemaria Osuorah, a solutions engineer and researcher with a singular focus: making the digital world safer through intelligent technology.

My journey in technology has been global and multifaceted. It began with a foundation in Computer Engineering in Nigeria, moved through the University of Staffordshire in the UK for my Master’s in Software Engineering, and has now brought me to Texas. Currently, I am a Doctoral Researcher and Graduate Research Assistant at Prairie View A&M University, where I am pursuing my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

We are living in an era where traditional security measures are no longer sufficient. My research centers on leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to create dynamic defense systems. I focus specifically on real-time network monitoring and threat detection, working to build systems that can identify anomalies and prevent fraud in financial infrastructures faster than any human operator could.

I have always believed that knowledge is the first line of defense. This passion for education led me to write “The Modern Security Playbook” (2025) and “Cybersecurity Fundamentals” (2022). through these books, I aim to break down complex topics making them accessible to both seasoned professionals and those just starting their journey in tech.

My goal is to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry application, ensuring that our digital future is not only innovative but secure.
